The Renewed Hope Network, supported by former Zamfara State Governor Abdulaziz Yari, has rallied thousands of supporters in backing President Bola Tinubu, encouraging Nigerians to ignore opposition messaging as the 2027 elections approach.
The group also appealed to citizens not to be influenced by what it described as misleading narratives, propaganda, or intentional misrepresentations from opposition figures aimed at discrediting Tinubu and his administration.
Addressing journalists during a solidarity rally held on Friday at the ongoing National Convention of the All Progressives Congress, the leader of TRN’s technical committee, Comrade Okpokwu Ogenyi, said the organisation mobilised a large number of supporters to show solidarity and highlight the President’s achievements.
Ogenyi praised Yari for establishing the network to promote the administration’s accomplishments and dedication to Nigerians, adding that TRN would sustain grassroots outreach efforts to educate citizens and support the delivery of the Renewed Hope agenda for national progress.
He further noted that Tinubu has demonstrated the leadership, commitment, and resolve needed to steer Nigeria toward economic growth through his policies, initiatives, and measurable results.
According to Ogenyi, those opposed to the administration should set aside their grievances and take a closer look at the reforms being implemented, stressing that meaningful evaluation requires openness and objectivity.
He also urged Nigerians, as the 2027 elections draw closer, not to be swayed by misinformation or negative narratives directed at Bola Ahmed Tinubu or his government.
