In the face of this pestilence, it is our collective responsibility to remain safe and prevent further spread of the COVID-19 in Nigeria.
To successfully do so, it is advised that every Nigerian carries out the following activities.
STAY HOME OR IN ISOLATION:
The NCDC advises that this is not a good time to travel or make non essential movements. If you have had contact with a confirmed case or have just returned from a high risk country and have developed a cough, fever or breathing difficulty, stay isolated and call the NCDC on 080097000010
HANDWASHING
Wash hands regularly with soap and running water and when soap is not available, use hand sanitizers.
LARGE GATHERINGS
Avoid large gatherings and crowded areas such as outdoor markets, parties and places of worship. When around anyone who is coughing or sneezing, maintain at least 2meters distance
SHARE VERIFIED INFORMATION ONLY
Do not broadcast or share fake news as it increases panic, induces fear and promotes wrong decisions which could be detrimental.
DISINFECTING SURFACES
and always remember to clean door knobs, tables, shelves and other public surfaces with a preferred disinfectant regularly.
