Today’s liturgy invites us to examine where we place our trust. We often desire certainty before taking the next step, but faith teaches us to walk with God even when we cannot see the whole road.
God does not promise that life will always be easy. He promises that we will never walk alone. Some seasons may bring disappointment, unanswered prayers, uncertainty, or unexpected challenges. Yet, even in those moments, God remains present and faithful.
The Gospel reminds us that worldly possessions, achievements, and status cannot give the soul the peace it truly seeks. What matters most is having a heart that belongs completely to God.
Sometimes, God asks us to surrender what we are desperately trying to control. Surrender is not weakness; it is an expression of faith. It says, “Lord, I may not understand, but I trust You.”
Today, let us ask for the grace to choose God above everything else, to remain faithful in difficult moments, and to believe that His plans are greater than our fears.
May our hearts remain open to God’s will, our steps guided by His wisdom, and our lives rooted in His unfailing love. Amen.
