Tuesday of the Fourth Week of Easter. Reflection by Rev Fr Oselumhense Anetor (Uromi Diocese)
Acts 11:19-26; John 10:22-30

Jesus is in the temple, walking up and down in the Portico of Solomon, because of the cold. Although there’s a lot of snow, he isn’t deterred. He’s busy preaching, assuring the Jews that the sheep that belong to him listen to His voice, and none can steal them. He does not become cold even with the cold.

Friends, the disciples were first called Christians at Antioch because they had no ‘cold’ moment. They preached to Jews as well as Greeks. Barnabas and Saul spent a whole year in Antioch, teaching and instructing a large number of people. When last did you tell someone about Jesus? When last did you say or do something distinctively Christian? Come on, let’s shake off the cold!

Good morning dear. God bless your day ahead.
