In a documentary released today, Wednesday November 18, 2020, CNN justifies what many #EndSars protesters have said for weeks – that the Nigerian Army from Bonny Camp, Lagos Island, Lagos, did move to the Lekki Toll and fire live ammunition directly at endsars protesters, killing some of them in the process.
All attempts by CNN to speak with the Nigerian Government and the Army has proven abortive. The documentary was put together by CNN specialists, Stephanie Busari, Nima Elbagir, Gianluca Mezzofiore and Katie Polglase, with video by Barbara Arvanitidis, Muhammad Darwish and Oscar Featherstone.
The Nigerian government has insisted that the Army didn’t shoot at protesters, neither were any killed as a direct result of the Lekki Toll gate incident.
