As at 10:10pm Friday, 17th April, 2020, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced fifty-one new confirmed cases of the Coronavirus in Nigeria with 32 cases in Lagos, 6 cases in Kano, 5 cases in Kwara, 2 cases in the Federal Capital Territory, 2 cases in Oyo, 2 cases in Katsina, 1 case in Ogun and 1 case in Ekiti.
Currently, nineteen states and the FCT have confirmed cases of the Coronavirus with a total of 493 confirmed cases, 159 discharged and 17 deaths.
