Hello friends, you recall that we made a call for “The Esan Best Composer Challenge” many weeks ago. In that call, we said that the challenge is open to all Catholics currently residing in the Catholic Diocese of Uromi.
We further stated that To ENTER, all aspiring contestants must download the Telegram App from Playstore (if they are not currently on the platform), and join our Telegram Group.
As part of our criteria for the challenge, we required contestants to compose and voice-record a two-minute original Esan Communion Hymn.
We had a total of 13 submissions. These were amazingly wonderful original Esan Liturgical compositions for Communion.
A winner has been picked by our sponsor. He is Aziegbe Osemudiamen Valentine, of Mary the Queen Catholic Church, Ekpoma.

Apart from a cash prize of N 20,000, our winner also gets to record his song with the Vox Angeli Gospel Band, at the Holy Family Media Recording Studios.
It is our hope that this wonderful song will be approved by the Liturgical Commission of the Diocese for use as Communion Hymn.
We shall also be looking at the other submissions, to see how we can further develop them for liturgical use.
