I respect writers a whole lot. No. It’s not because I’m one. I’ve come to realise that writers think deep – pretty deep. Are you a fan of books? Then you should know.

In my experience, the greatest motion pictures are those based on books. Trust me. I know! And yes, I’m about to talk about another movie – ARRIVAL.

It’s a 2016 American movie that moved my mind in such an astonishing manner, I thought I’d die marveling at the depths of the mind of the writer. Phew!

What if we all had a UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE? One tongue that could make every single one of us understand one another in such a perfect manner, there would be zero room for misunderstanding? A language so powerful, it could become the ‘weapon’ to seeing the future…

Think about it. We would have no fighting, no wars – just lasting peace, love and togetherness. Sounds like heaven, doesn’t it?

In ARRIVAL, “Linguistics professor, Louise Banks (Amy Adams) leads an elite team of investigators when gigantic spaceships touch down in 12 locations around the world. As nations teeter on the verge of global war, Banks and her crew must race against time to find a way to communicate with the extraterrestrial visitors…”

After series of attempts, Banks soon comes to understand that the aliens had come to offer humans their ‘universal language’ in order to prevent the earth from destroying itself.

Now she is able to understand all languages, and tell the future. Amidst other things, Banks ends up preventing another World War…

Do you think there’s such a universal language? I do! It’s the language of LOVE. If only we could all understand it. It’s only then we can be said to have truly ARRIVED!

God bless you!
